In 2008, Tina Roth Eisenberg (Swissmiss) started CreativeMornings out of a desire for an ongoing, accessible event for New York’s creative community. The concept was simple: breakfast and a short talk one Friday morning a month. Every event would be free of charge and open to anyone.
Here at CreativeMornings Headquarters, we get asked how we scaled our community — and continue to sustain it — almost weekly. It’s not a short answer. (Or an easy one.)
So, we’re creating an in-person, hands-on workshop to share the different strategies and methods we’ve found to be successful when building a global community.
What started as a flooded inbox of people wanting to start a CreativeMornings chapter in their city quickly turned into 130+ independently volunteer-run chapters in 50+ countries across the globe.
In this workshop, we’ll cover how we built CreativeMornings, how we keep our Hosts and Organizers engaged and how we sustain it. From onboarding new volunteers and communicating in multiple languages to walking the line of brand control versus chapter host's creative freedom, we’re putting together a toolbox of resources to share with you and your team.
We’re still in the early stages of development, but we look forward to updating you shortly. If you’d like to stay in the loop on when a detailed description for the one day workshop becomes available, please sign-up below.
How do I know if this course is right for me? (Hint: If any of these options sound like you, then it’s a fit!)
I’m in the community industry and I want to learn about different strategies for scale and growth.
I want to know why everyone is talking about community.
I want to learn more about the the creative community.
I want to learn about the globally distributed event series community business.
We can’t wait to meet you!
